Just a quick reminder note that the first write-in meeting will be at the William’s Coffee Pub on King Street, in Kitchener, next to City Hall.  This is moved from A Matter of Taste, as it looks like our crowd would fill up the store and prevent others from getting their coffee fix.  I’ll send someone across the street at the right time to check for other NaNo people.

May have noticed earlier we had a brief outage this afternoon that was caused by a server move. While I was hoping this was going to happen in the wee hours of the morning, no such luck.

At any rate we’re back up and going, and it seems just in time too as it appears the main Nanowrimo website has had it’s login & forum guts ripped out of it (I assume to control traffic). You can find updates on their downtime via Twitter.

Here you can find the latest regional news, get in touch with the locals, check out the upcoming events and peruse their photo galleries. We’ve also got a section with links (and mirrors) for popular writing tools. This site will also serve as a backup in case those poor folks at Nanowrimo HQ lose their server again
